Creative Careers Month
A Creative Careers Month is planned for November 2026 to help inspire, connect, and open up pathways into creative work. Working in partnership with Forge and the North Yorkshire Creative Careers Working Group, we will be programming a range of activities across North Yorkshire to raise awareness of creative careers options, showcase skills, share research into the sector and offer opportunities to make new connections.
Artists, organisations, schools, colleges and universities are invited to take part in Creative Careers Month – a programme celebrating the breadth of opportunities within the creative and cultural sector.
Be part of inspiring the next generation to explore creative pathways, while showcasing your work, building connections with education providers and emerging talent, and championing inclusivity across the sector.

Following its 2023 relaunch, the DCMS-funded Discover! Creative Careers programme has united industry and education partners to widen awareness of creative career opportunities across the UK.
To date the programme has reached over 210,000 young people since 2023, with 146,000 engagements in the past year alone.
The Discover Creative Careers programme is returning with a new vision, new partnerships and more incredible opportunities for young people aged 11-24.
